ALL ABOUT ME

I have been fascinated by hypnotherapy for almost as long as I can remember, but like many people I put aside what seemed like an unlikely career to follow something more 'sensible'.  In my case, this included working for a local authority and, latterly, a children's charity.

Alongside this fascination was a passion for language and the power of words.  They string together the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves, and the words of others lodge in our minds and memories, impacting all areas of our lives.  This is why, in 2020, I was studying for a postgraduate qualification in linguistics.

Then Covid happened and the world seemed to turn upside down.  I completed my studies, but realized that carrying on with more academic study wasn't really what I wanted and so I found myself thinking again about hypnotherapy.  And here was lockdown, a wake-up call if ever there was one that life can be uncertain.  At that point I decided to take a leap of faith, and as lockdown eased I signed up to begin studying with Hilary Norris Evans and the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences.

And now here I am, three years later with people reading my own website and deciding whether or not to trust me with being part of their journey towards achieving their goals and wellbeing!  I feel very privileged.
